For marketing and social media agencies

Competitive intelligence, one more service for your clients.

Market Sonar collects what your clients' competitors publish on LinkedIn and Instagram every day, stories included, and what their customers say about them on Google. You audit a client in minutes, recommend on measurements, and deliver a briefing every week under your name, with the full dossier as a PDF with your logo.

Or try it on one of your clients, free for 14 days:

Without competitive intelligence

Hours

Audits are done by hand. Account by account, post by post, for every new client and every prospect.

No reference

The client’s results are reported on their own. Without the market around them, there is no telling whether 300 interactions a post is a lot.

Same offer

Every agency sells content. Competitive intelligence, delivered every week, sets yours apart and justifies the retainer.

Everything they publish, collected

Each competitor’s LinkedIn and Instagram posts, collected every day: text, date, format, likes, comments and shares. Their followers too, tracked over time.

Instagram stories and highlights are read frame by frame: an offer, a launch, a promo code stand out, even when they are never published as a post.

Each competitor’s Facebook and Instagram ads are read too: the offers it pushes, in which towns, and when its campaign stops.

What works for them

Each post is measured against its own account’s usual post: a small account is not drowned by a big one, and a format that works shows up.

Formats, topics, rising hashtags, and each one’s rhythm: which days they post, and with what engagement.

Formats, against each account’s usual post

  • Carousel+42%
  • Video+18%
  • Single image−6%
  • Long text−24%

Posts per weekday, over 90 days

Example: made-up figures.

Their reviews and their Google listings

For a client that serves the public, reviews count as much as social. Each competitor’s reviews on Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot are collected every day: rating, number of reviews, pace of new ones.

What customers praise at competitors and never at yours, the complaints only your client gets, and what its Google listing lacks against theirs: hours, category, attributes.

A rating is only compared with ratings on the same platform, and never ranked on fewer than five reviews.

A client or prospect audit, in minutes

Add the client and its competitors: their accounts are found from their websites, and the first readings arrive within minutes.

Its strengths and weaknesses against its market, the openings competitors leave, the threats they are preparing. Enough to open a client meeting, or a sales proposal.

Strengths

  • Carousels do +42% on its usual post

Weaknesses

  • 2.1 posts a week, against 3.8 for the market
  • The only one with complaints about delivery times

Opportunities

  • Competitor A has not posted on LinkedIn for 6 weeks

Threats

  • Competitor B re-runs a story offer every Friday

Recommend, then measure

Each briefing puts its decisions to the client, in figures drawn from what works in its market: change what it posts, or leave it as it is? It never says what to post; your recommendation stays yours.

Your client answers in one click: Act, Hold or Not for us. The next briefing grades them: the measure then, the measure now. You show the effect of your work against the market, not just in isolation.

Carousels do +42% on each account’s usual post across the market, against one post in five at your client.

A briefing every week, a full dossier with your logo

Each client gets its briefing every Monday, or on the 1st of the month if it prefers, with your logo and name in place of ours. Two minutes to read, and its decisions in one click.

Behind every briefing, the full dossier: every table, its reviews, its Google listing, the SWOT. It opens through a link, without creating an account, with a password if you want one, or as an A4 PDF with your logo: the document you sell.

Questions

What agencies ask before they start.

A question not listed here? Ask it

Which networks and platforms are covered?

LinkedIn and Instagram: posts, followers, and for Instagram, stories and highlights. Facebook and Instagram ads: offers pushed, towns targeted, campaigns started and stopped. Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot reviews, and Google listings. Facebook and TikTok posts are not collected.

Are stories included in the trial?

No. Stories are collected for subscribed teams, not during the 14-day free trial. Posts are collected from the first day of the trial.

Does my client need an account?

No. They get their briefing by email and answer its decisions in one click. The full dossier opens through a share link, with a password if you want one, or as a PDF.

Is the app itself under my name?

No: your logo and name replace ours on the briefings and full dossiers your clients receive. The app itself stays Market Sonar.

Can I try it on a single client?

Yes. Create a team for that client and use the 14-day free trial, with every feature of the Pro plan. The agency account can be requested afterwards.

Does the briefing prove the effect of my work?

It measures it without proving it: it compares the measure before and after a decision, and places it against the market. The cause is yours to judge.

Add competitive intelligence to what you sell.

14 days of Pro, briefing included, no credit card. After that, Free keeps your offers, website watching and a light briefing, for 3 competitors.
