1. Service provider
Market Sonar is published and operated by Catalyz SAS, a simplified joint stock company registered in France under SIREN 106 681 927, with registered office at 36 rue d'Alsace-Lorraine, 31000 Toulouse, France.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Market Sonar, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
3. Description of the service
Market Sonar is a competitive pricing intelligence platform. It collects publicly available pricing and feature information from competitor websites, analyses it, and tracks changes over time. The service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid plans. When a customer follows a freelancer’s LinkedIn profile, the customer confirms that the profile is used for the person’s business; that confirmation is recorded and the customer is answerable for it.
Its publication Calendar helps a team prepare what it publishes on its social networks and its website. It can create and import visuals with Canva: each member connects their own Canva account, whose use remains subject to Canva's terms.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@market-sonar.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros, exclusive of VAT where applicable. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honoured at their current price until the end of their billing cycle.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to collect data from websites that prohibit automated access, where this would violate applicable law
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute data obtained through Market Sonar without our written consent
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data belonging to other users
- Interfere with the service's infrastructure or circumvent usage limits
- Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law
- Follow the LinkedIn profile of a person who does not use it for an independent business, or follow a person for any purpose other than competitive watch (recruitment, prospecting, monitoring an employee or a private individual)
7. Intellectual property
Market Sonar, its design, code, and documentation are the property of Catalyz SAS. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your plan.
Data you input (team configuration, market structure, notes) remains yours. Competitor data collected by the service is publicly available information and is not owned by either party.
8. Availability and warranties
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of competitor data collected by the platform.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catalyz SAS's total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business decisions made based on data from the service.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Toulouse, France, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
